The collecting of fossils from the Devonian period is exceeding expectations! And for the first time we’ve had really nice weather.

The last two days we’ve been working late into the evenings. The midnight sun is lovely and it definitely light up our lives in every sense. New discoveries are continuously made by the researchers. Fossil in the form of shark teeth, tree structures, bones, and footprints from tetrapods are some examples of the finds in the last two days. We are all slightly worn out since we work at full speed while weather permits.

We’ve also seen a lot of interesting animals. Musk ox, snowy owl, lemmings, arctic foxes and various birds are passing by.
