As ususal we started the day with climbing up the mountain. We can’t force our way through some of the ravines and for safety reasons have to walk around them. Near the glacier we saw five adult muskoxen and a calf. We searched for the highest level where fossils could be found, and we believe we found the right place.

Grzeg had a fun experience in a ravine, where an encounter with an Arctic fox became the memory of the day. The fox was playful and Grzeg tagged along. We also found a lot of fossils, including clam and fish.

We are now back at the camp and Henning promised to cook pasta with pesto! We’re sitting here satisfied and happy, waiting for the dinner bell to ring.
