This morning we arrived at the Polish research station in Hornsund in beautiful and calm weather. A warm shower is nice after two and half weeks washing/bathing in glacial streams. 🙂
Yesterday we were occupied by sorting equipment and packing the camp. Then Stig and Bjørn on M/S FARM picked us up in the late afternoon and also brought Karolina Goluchowska, our new team member for the second part of the expedition, along. Thank you Stig for the nice trip and, of course, for the Scottish ”hand grenade”. 😉
If the weather continues to be fine and calm we will leave for Sørkapp tomorrow.
