Half past eleven last night our two saviours from the Polish station arrived at Hyttevika. After a small party we went to bed and got up early in the morning. They had to go to Werenskioldbreen and get data from a couple of data loggers, we had to get ready for leaving Hyttevika.

Half past ten the borrowed engine was mounted and the Zodiacs loaded and we saw Hyttevika and Hornsund in beautiful weather while driving back to the Polish station. Now we and the equipment are in place for the trip back home. This afternoon packing, tomorrow back to Longyearbyen with a two sampling stops on the way. The weather is fine, the weather report as well. 🙂
