For the last couple of decades, SWEDARCTIC bedrock expeditions have been analyzing the Palaeozoic and Precambrian evolution of High Arctic Eurasia, from Svalbard to Severnaya Zemlya, to better understand the Uralian, Caledonian, Timanian and older history of the "basement".
