This season's research in Dronning Maud Land lasted from November to December 2004. A dozen people; researchers, expedition management and technical personnel, participated in the expedition.
In addition to the research, technical and logistical work was performed at Wasa and Svea. In addition to conventional maintenance, tracked vehicles and snowmobiles was serviced and repaired. At Svea a permanent GPS station was installed.
